For Guidance

O God, by whom the meek are guided in judgment, and light rises up in darkness for the godly: Grant us, in all our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what you would have us do, that the Spirit of wisdom may save us from all false choices; that in your light we may see light, and in your straight path we may not stumble; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For the Selection of a Bishop or Other Minister

Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a Bishop for this Diocese that we may receive a faithful pastor who will preach the Gospel, care for your people, equip us for ministry, and lead us forth in fulfillment of the Great Commission; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

A modern Anglican prayer composed for the 1979 Episcopal Church prayer book and later expanded for the 2019 ACNA book. It asks God to guide those choosing a bishop, that the Church may receive a pastor who will preach the Gospel, care for God's people, equip them for ministry, and carry forward the Great Commission.
